Ident Beacon 'WP' Green
Although Wycombe Air Park is underneath the London TMA the
airspace restrictions are minimal as the base of Controlled
Airspace just to the West is at 4500 feet QNH.
There is plenty of Class G airspace around Booker which allows for
a free and easy training environment but with the benefit of many
facilities nearby. Civil and Military Radar Services are available
from Heathrow, Luton, Benson and Farnborough.
There are more NDBs and VORs around than you can shake a stick at
and all of the local civil and military airfields allow training
with the exception of Heathrow.
Numerous smaller airfields are in close proximity for added fun
and quite a number of farmer's strips can be seen in the local
area.
