Air Traffic Control
The Air Traffic Service at Wycombe Air Park is full Air Traffic Control and is provided by a team of experienced Air Traffic Controllers.

Each ATCO is licenced by the Civil Aviation Authority and must
undergo a long period of "on the job" training at Wycombe before
being assessed by an inspector from the Safety Regulation Group of
the Civil Aviation Authority. In addition, each year every ATCO
must undergo a Local Competency Check by a SRG inspector. A Class I
or II medical certificate is also necessary.
Wycombe Air Park is fortunate in having Air Traffic Control staff
who have a genuine interest in light aviation. Many of the ATCOs
hold currrent PPLs (both fixed-wing and helicopter) and also have
experience of working at other Air Traffic Units and special
events.
