Community Matters

We strongly believe in supporting our local community. We support local schools and community organisations by offering visits to the airfield for young people and those interested in general aviation.  In September 2009, we welcomed visits from UK Air Cadets, The National Service (Royal Air Force) Association and The Fire Brigade Society.

We also work hard to reduce our impact on the local environment, especially the noise impact of the airfield, by setting up and enforcing Noise Abatement Zones in the local area, and by communicating with local stakeholders through our Joint Consultative Committee.  Find out more about the Joint Consultative Committee.
